I'm liking the bolt on fender flares on that M4 though

Cool, as long as they are not douchebags there is nothing wrong.

Really?

Well the M4 isn't widened at all as opposed to the M3, so seeing flares on it is nice. Bolt on ones are cool. Young person thoughts, right?

The "bolt on ones are cool" part, yes. I have always loved widened fenders but this "bolt on" trend puzzles me. It just looks so tacky and out of place in my opinion. However, I am the type of person who likes subtly modifications. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so I hope that you don't think that I was criticizing yours.

No of course not. I understand everyone has their own opinions. Who do you think I am, a Youtube commenter??

The bolt on fenders don't always work, it's a car-to-car thing. This car is a great example of how it could look good. And it's a pretty good deal for a historics-ready racer.

I know but some people view my questions as a sign of criticism, so I'm just making sure.

Ah I see. However, I would argue that bolt on fenders like that are acceptable because they look like time and effort was put forth to make them look good. Unlike the M4 in the clip above.

I didn't really get a good look at the ones in the video, so I may have been mistaken with my judgement. All I'm saying is that Alfa looks good, and has them. So when they're done right, they're great.

I can agree with that.

Yeah now that I get a good look at it, bleh. It just looks...off.

I agree. Also, is it just me or do the wheels look disproportionate to the rest of the body?

YES I noticed that during the video, he kept the stock wheels on even though he widened the arches. Makes absolutely no sense.
